-You have to play both MGS 1, 2, and 3.
-You must be able to play MGS1 with less than 5 alerts, MGS2 with less than 8 alerts, and MGS3 with less than 5 alerts (sometimes if a guard see's you, it will be an alert even if he did not radio in. However, to me the alerts only count if they radio in.

Jobs

Stealth Mode: At the beginning of each online game in MGS3 Subsistence, we go into stealth mode. We use the Sneakiest tactics we can. Each Commando will have one job for EACH mode. Here are the Jobs for stealth mode.

Recon- The recon man will go off alone, or in a group of 2, 3, and 4. It is up to the squad leader or the highest ranking Commando. They will sneak through the area, and report the following
-size of the enemy he see's. the enemy will most likely split up.
-Unit. If they are a clan identify who they are.
-location. Report where the enemy is.
-direction. Tell where they are heading.
The Recon man will also be responsible for other things that require stealth such as
-Infiltration
-Bomb disposal while in stealth.

Recon sniper: Pretty much as recon man except with a sniper rifle. Shoots only when necessary.

Spotter: The spotter follows the sniper and helps spot out targets.

Action: Action mode will take place when an operative is caght or shooting takes place. All people who have stealth mode jobs will switch to one of these jobs. Whichever one they chose when they enlisted.

Assault man:Carries an assault rifle, and goes after the enemy.
Machine Gunner:Carries a machine gun such as the M63, and protects and provides covering fire for the squad.

Sniper:Takes out enemy from far away or from up high. Also protects Assault men and Machine Gunners.

In action mode: Squads will always be in groups no less than three.
